About

This is the website of the Attention Lab at the Department of Psychology, Royal Holloway, University of London. Here you can find out about our latest research, get in touch with us, and get copies of our publications.

We use behavioural experiments to study various aspects of attentional function, including: the links between attention and awareness; attentional capture; and the way that attention acts within and between the different sensory modalities. We have recently begun to investigate attentional allocation during real life tasks, such as the use of in-car navigation systems.
