Week of 4th April…

On Saturday Courtenay and Becca attended the NAPLIC conference in Warwick.  They ran an interactive workshop demonstrating how important it is to consider how tasks and language are processed, rather than just focussing on the end result.  Workshop participants were given the opportunity to undertake demo tasks on the eye-tracker.  These tasks illustrate that the technology can be used to implicitly reveal how a picture is visually explored and provide clues to reasons why the language used to describe the scene is chosen.
