- Adolescents’ use of social media – we are looking for schools to take part in a survey study exploring how 13- to 18-year-olds use and perceive the risks and benefits of social media. This study will involve adolescents completing a set of questionnaires (can be completed in a whole-class setting if we have access to a computer suite or set of tablets/iPads) that will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. Please contact Beatrice Hayes at Beatrice.Hayes.firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Factors influencing emotion recognition in adolescents- we are looking for schools to take part in this study. We have several studies where we wish to visit children and adolescents only on one occasion. Please contact Rachel Nesbit at Rachel.Nesbit.email@example.com
The Lab offers consultancy in educational research, and has specialism in intervention evaluation. We can also be commissioned to provide various training opportunities, for example for school INSET days or for Local Authorities. Training topics include promoting positive peer relationships in schools, developing peer support systems, and collaborative learning.
