Originally trained as a biologist at Uppsala University and Stockholm University, I received my PhD from the Department of Neuroscience, Karolinska Institutet. Before coming to Royal Holloway, I worked as a postdoc with Prof David Heeger, first at the VISTA group in the Department of Psychology at Stanford University and then at the Center for Neural Science at New York University. My current research interests include: mechanisms of early and intermediate vision; neuronal adaptation; invariant shape recognition; human visual cortical organization; models of visual processing; neuroimaging methods (particularly fMRI). I also tend to spend too much time on software development. My place in the big tree can be found here. Departmental profile & contact numbers here |
